Sims 1 -- How do I backup my neighborhoods & families before installing the Complete Edition?

I currently have Sims 1 and several Expansion Packs installed on my computer. I recently bought the Sims 1 Complete Edition and am about to install it.



What is the best way to backup my current neighborhoods, families, and user objects before I uninstall my game? How do I replace them into my game after I have installed the Complete Edition?

Your current families, neighbors and everything will still be there even if you install the complete edition. Im 99.9% sure.



If you still feel like you want to back it up, the go to the sims folder in program files, find the SAVE folder and copy and paste it somewhere else.



After you install the complete edtion, go back to the Sims folder and copy and paste the SAVE folder back.



Im not exactly sure where the SAVE folder is, it might also be located in My Documents.
