Can you play the "episodes tbogt and lod" with someone who has the "complete edition 4, tbogt,and lod ?

I got the GTA 4 complete edition as a gift from my gf. She bought herself the Episodes of liberty city which contains only the extra story's NOT GTA 4. But when we try to play multiplayer on TBoGT it sends invites but doesn't receive the invite.



So will a normal GTA 4 connect with a complete edition??

As far as I know, you should be able to. Make sure both parties are starting the Episodes, instead of one person starting GTA4 and one person doing the episodes, as the maps are different between the first and the episodes.
